On the 18th of March this year, Filipe Maragfo’ou a recent graduate from RCDC in Auckland has been awarded for an “Outstanding Student Entry” in the Geosmart’s Location Innovation Awards 2009 competition. There were dozens of other interesting location-based and mobile business applications in the four categories: social networking, proximity-based marketing, LBS games, and AA maps widgets.
We are happy to say that Filipe’s concept application GPS-SSH! Impressed the judges and has resulted in him winning the cool prize of a Blackberry Smartphone with GPS.
