GD065 Graphics for Products and Spaces

This subject requires students to translate their current two-dimensional graphic design knowledge and practice to three-dimensional objects and spaces. Students will be required to expand their design thinking and skills in order to approach three-dimensional graphic briefs and will be introduced briefly to design processes and methods practiced in product, interior and fashion design. Students will be encouraged to take innovative and lateral approaches to producing visual solutions, designs which operate across three-dimensions, and will be required to question the importance and necessity of generating designs such as packaging and signage with regard to ecological and social issues.
