On successful completion of this subject, learners will be able to:

• Represent current and future work in an innovative and professional portfolio;
• Generate resolved graphic design solutions from brief to the final printed outcome and deliver material which meets printer requirements; and also shows typographic skills and judgment skills.
• Take full advantage of print-press and one off/minimum run printing techniques and processes including: paper stock, print runs, die-cuts, embossing, hand lettering, stenciling, screen printing, photo-montage;
• Articulate personal design styles and approaches, in addition to personal design ethics, beliefs and methodologies; and
• Understand the role of new media such as: web, digital etc in design.
