Graduates of the Diploma Level 6 qualification will have gained a broad range of core and highly specialized skill and knowledge required to work as a practitioner within the many contexts of the professional photography industry and will allow flexibility for the candidate to have a choice in the setting which they wish to apply those skills.

After completing the course, students will:

• Have developed analytical, technical and communication skills.
  
• Be able to apply theory to the development of photographic solutions.
  
• Have the confidence to be creative and strategic in processing visual ideas.
  
• Be able to apply current photographic techniques to the development of creatively processed image solutions.
  
• Have the management skills to work independently and/or in a team, and to manage photographic projects.

• Have an appreciation and understanding of the social and commercial context of photographic practice.
