Raffles. College of Design & Commerce New Zealand has agreed to observe and be bound by the Code Of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students published by the Minister of Education. Immigration

Health Services

Most international students are not entitled to publicly funded health services while in New Zealand. If you receive medical treatment during your visit, you may be liable for the full costs of that treatment. Accident Insurance

The Accident Compensation Corporation provides accident insurance for all New Zealand citizens, residents and temporary visitors to New Zealand, but you may still be liable for all other medical and related costs.

Medical and Travel Insurance

International Students must have appropriate and current medical and travel insurance while studying in New Zealand.

Entry Dates

  • There are 4 intakes in a year.
  • The terms commence in February, April, July, and September.
  • Photography and Animation programs have only February and July intakes.

Entry requirements

  • Completion of Year 12 or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Have met our English Entry Requirement:
    1. IELTS Score of 5.5* or higher; or
    2. Native Speaker of English; or
    3. From a country where English is the primary language; or
    4. From High School or Tertiary Institution where language of instruction is English

* Students applying for New Zealand Diploma in Business would require an Academic IELTS of 6.0

  • Duly completed:
    2009 International Application Form
  • Copy of Applicant's Passport
  • Two (2) passport sized photographs
  • Copies of Applicant's latest educational transcripts and certificates (Original language and English Translated)
  • Updated Resume if Applicant has working experience for more than one (1) year.
  • Application Fee and Course Fee to be made payable to "Raffles. College of Design & Commerce" in CASH, New Zealand Dollars.
